Fisher House: My Home Away From Home

I recently got to stay at Fisher House, a nonprofit organization that provides FREE accommodations to veteran / military families while their loved ones are in the hospital. Zachary Fisher's vision of a "home away from home" for military families is now a reality, offering comfort and support during tough times. I got a behind-the-scenes look at the Fisher House located next to the Long Beach, California VA Hospital. Guests of Fisher House enjoy a comfortable and supportive environment during their loved ones' hospital stays. I got to explore the facilities while waiting for Derec's back to back surgeries this last March. The Fisher House provides a sense of community and solace during challenging times.
