Well things are starting to pick up. First, we have topped 500 subscribers! Woo hoo! We are beyond the halfway point to 1000 subscribers! Please, if you haven't, subscribe to our YouTube channel, leave a comment and hit the "thumbs up"! https://www.youtube.com/c/VanLifeVoyages So February 10, at 4 pm Pacific, on our livestream we'll have the prize wheel all cleaned up and ready to go with more awesome prizes to give away!! There will even be a little bourbon ...
Tanya released our newest video. It was our trip on Halloween to Lake Tahoe and camping at Indian Springs campground! What a fun trip. It was also my maiden voyage ! There is a scary guy in a hockey mask who makes several cameos in it. ;-) Check it out!! https://youtu.be/Er4FjzgY_U4
We had a fun time! The camp site was much more primitive than I was expecting. California wouldn't allow fires, so our fire-ring went unused. And there was a pretty good grade on the ground/dirt area! But we made it work and loved it. I forget how amazing the forest smells. The scents of pine and cedar floating through the air, mixed with the smell of earth are so calming and tranquil, I never want to leave. It was great to wake up in the middle of these majestic trees with the sounds of birds chirping and singing. Early in the afternoon you could hear the breeze and see the trees gently sway as the air made it's way softly through the forest above our heads. It's an indescribably beautiful picture, and I highly recommend you take every opportunity to get out there and experience it.
The dogs loved all of the trees too. Gunner tried like heck to mark every tree there!
Tanya made some awesome hot cocoa in the evening which really hit the spot. We even had the BIG marshmallows! (I know I'm a little kid)
We also went to Quartzsite, AZ for 12 days in January! That was a blast! We met so many wonderful people! We'll have the video up pretty soon. It was quite rocky and wheelchair rolling was difficult. But with a little help from friends we got it done!
We were fortunate to camp right between Box Van Dee and Jonnies Journey! I must say that I believe Kelly (aka Vanderella) brought me 4 big bags of my fave, Doritos! I think, she thinks I'm too skinny. Ha haa hah ha haaaa!!!
Jonnie, from Jonnie's Journey helped us out so incredibly much! I put the link to her channel in. From just jumping our dead battery with Cargo Dan, to patching a couple holes on the roof of our van, her willingness to help others was simply immeasurable.
Jonnie builds her own van conversions. If she ever decides to do it professionally, she'll be a millionaire overnight, wow! Check out her channel and the amazing work she has done on more than one van.
Box Van Dee has a larger channel and was gracious enough to do an interview of Tanya and I on her livestream. She got a pretty g0od response from her more than 10 thousand subscribers! It was great to share the disability issues with her subscribers. I hope we could inspire others to get out there and do things! You can check out the interview on Dee's channel.
Those Arizona sunsets were amazing, simply amazing! So I know this entry is choppy and disorganized. I'm sorry. I'll get the next one much smoother. Much love!
Just roll with it!

Hi Johnny, is it possible to watch how this wheel spins on stream? Maybe you still have a recording or you recorded a video from the stream? If not, if possible, please screen record on your mac to record this video and add it to your article. If you don't know how to do this, you can visit this site for screen capture methods.
Another great blog post! Love your description of the forest, look forward to more camping this Spring. Thank you for the shout out for Jonnie and me, you are too kind. We really enjoyed our time visiting in Quartzsite. Hope you have an amazing rest of the week!!!
